加拿大联邦技术移民2014年5月重新开放，配额由54新政的5000提高到25000（5倍），职业由原先的24类调整为50类（每个职业最多接收1000个申请）。

关于评分标准是否改变的问题，没有迹象说要改变，即使改变也是细枝末节的，当前能申请的人大概都有机会。雅思要求也没有必要再提高，已经可以了。

加拿大联邦技术移民从08年227新政到今天一直紧缩（227前的也被一刀切了）。从5月起，紧缩这么多年了积案已经清理干净，因为每年都需要那么多新移民，因为劳动力缺乏将成为世界共同的问题。移民机构认为15年1月后加拿大联邦技术移民会向好，春天来得更好一些，寒冬过去了，希望您在下次寒冬来临前实现您的心愿。

不过值得提醒的是，雅思4个6分是前提，达不到4个6分只能等加拿大省提名，或学法语走魁北克了。
